So you want to sell on eBay, but you have two minor problems: you do not know how, and you do not have stuff. Not a problem. Continue Read on for some tips to help you meet the right direction to learn to make money on eBay.
Before you begin, you'll need some basic equipment: computer, Internet access, digital camera and a space to put your stuff. That's really all what you need to get started. You'll also need shipping and packing supplies but that is discussed later.
Then, you'll need to learn to auctions list. Book Store Overview Vendor:

This will be your lifeline. There is a plethora of information there on everything you ever wanted to know and more. Do not be overwhelmed; just take one step at a time. You'll see there are ad information on bidding, on photos, feedback – all there.
Then you will need to determine what to sell. Before you focus on a particular niche, you need some experience and some reactions. Buyers are generally wary of buying from someone who is brand new and has a feedback rating of less than 10 evaluations. While you are getting your feet in the water, look around your own home. You'd be surprised what people buy. You could list clothing too large, magazines, candles, CDs, books, flannel sheets, recipes, the lamp that was ugly and old Aunt Mildred all those Christmas gifts goofy sitting in your basement, this baby carrier with a stain. See the idea? You never know what someone wants.
Even if you you need experience, you do not want to list something that is not likely to sell. Do your research before you invest the time to gather Ad. An easy to use is to search "on eBay, then look at completed items, then sort them by price higher. Then you see if your Tommy Bahama shirt is really nothing. Or you'll see that your old baseball cards had 23 listings and not one of them sold.
The price is another challenge. Again, you need to do your research. See what they're going for. You have no expectations too high. You know how you feel when you go to a garage sale and you see a pair of jeans for $ 15 or books for $ 4 each. Many people come eBay to find a market. Calculate the amount you put in the question. If you have an item around the house, you may feel that something is better than nothing so that you may be inclined to start the bidding quite low. If you have purchased for the express purpose of reselling them, you can, at least want to break even, so take the price you paid for it and consider other costs, ie tuition fees, the Final value fees (all explained in your lifeline – Overview eBay seller above).
People are much more apt to bid if the auction begin low. Sometimes, however, you deserve to collect much money. Do not give this vintage postcard that is a $ 56 value! Do your homework.
The big question is how do you get paid? You decide what you might accept. Payments online such as PayPal (paypal.com) are very convenient. You can also decide whether you will accept money orders or personal checks. The the more options you leave your buyers, the more likely you will receive lower bids.
You also need to decide how you want to send your items to the winners. Many sellers use USPS, others prefer UPS. If you use USPS and ship via Priority Mail, you can get your envelopes and boxes free from USPS. If you ship First Class or Parcel Post or UPS, you have to shop around for deals on boxes or envelopes and paper bubble packaging or peanuts.
Overwhelmed yet? Yes, there is much to learn, but it is not nuclear science. It Just take one step at a time. It's a learning process. Some yahoo groups (or MSN or AOL, or whatever your preference) are excellent sources of support and camaraderie with others who do the same.
So in summary, if you just want to "start push buttons "and learn to make money on eBay on your own, YOU CAN DO IT. If you do better chatting with others, these resources are also available. Use what is available.
