Signal Officer

What is the appropriate way for a police officer to report on / off you?
I have a court date next month and I can not find the proper procedures to police. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction. The State is Iive Colorado if that helps. Thank you!:) I know that two of the top five responses told me to use common sense, but this is not what I'm looking for and what is not me. Lights and sirens is an obvious reason to pull over. However, I ask for the appropriate procedures that the police officer must follow when you pull someone over. No procedures I have to take. Thank you!
Police around the world hold their arm up with palm their hand against you to make you stop. I have never seen a police officer anywhere in the world do things differently. If you're driving and they drive so they must turn their emergency lights.
