How hard is it to be selected for the Air Force Postal Service (Special Service)?

Pretty much everyone applicable knows there is an agreement if they can get the job of choice. Although the plum assignments are everybody wants, but rarely get. Competition is usually quite fierce at the time an opening is shown for missions Nice. When there are missions shit, competition is not as fierce, but the locations are not as good.
