Scope Mounting Question?

I'll buy a Leupold VX-III from the scope of Cabela's for my .30/06. It is 40 mm diameter objective. I am thirteen want to mount the scope as low as possible so I can see across the field while my cheek is resting on the comb. How many times a scope mounting ring should I buy? Sizes are super low, low, medium, high and super high. The rifle is a pre-64 Winchester Model 70

To be completely honest with you, it will depend on model rifle itself. More than likely you'll need high rings, however, some guns like the Browning line receivers have raised that allow lower mounts. The Chances are you will need high rings for 40mm-50mm and super 50mm + for high. Ofcourse high rises instead of med not fall within the scope around a 1 / 8 inch.
